Privacy Policy

This Privacy Policy describes how Pozio ("we", "our", "us") collects, uses, and protects your information when you use the Pozio mobile application (the "App"). By using the App, you agree to the practices described here.

1. Information We Collect

1.1 Information you provide

Photos and drawings. Photos you choose to upload so the App can create new images of you:

  • a photo of yourself, used in every feature;
  • a pose reference photo, when you use "Create Your Own Pose";
  • a hand-drawn pose sketch, when you use "Create From a Sketch";
  • the photo you want retaken, when you use "Photogenic";
  • a front-facing photo, when you use "Face Analysis".

Purchase information. When you buy a subscription or a credit pack, Apple processes the payment and our payment processor, RevenueCat, manages the purchase. We receive only purchase confirmations and subscription status — never your card details.

1.2 Information collected automatically

  • Anonymous user identifier. A unique identifier generated on first launch. No real name, email, or phone number is required to use the App.
  • Device identifier. A randomly generated UUID stored locally on your device, used so the same installation is recognized across sessions.
  • Device information. Device model, operating system version, and App version, sent once when your anonymous account is created so the App works correctly on your device. It is not used for analytics.
  • Account activity. The status of your generations, your subscription status, and your credit balance — needed to run your account. We do not use analytics or advertising SDKs.

1.3 Information from Apple services

  • App Attest. A cryptographic key issued by Apple's App Attest service is used to verify that requests come from a genuine, unmodified instance of the App. The key itself does not identify you.
  • DeviceCheck. A device-level token used to prevent abuse of the one-time free credits for new users. It is forwarded to Apple for verification and not stored on our servers.
  • Push notifications. If you enable them, your device's push token is stored so we can tell you when a generation is ready.

2. How We Use Your Information

We use collected information to:

  • Provide the App's AI features: placing you into gallery scenes and your own pose photos, changing your pose to match a sketch, retaking a photo of you at a better moment (Photogenic), and giving styling recommendations for your hair, brows and skin with a before/after image (Face Analysis).
  • Manage your account, credits, and subscription.
  • Send push notifications about your generations (if enabled).
  • Prevent fraud, abuse, and automated bot activity.
  • Improve App performance and resolve technical issues.
  • Comply with legal obligations.

3. AI Processing and Your Consent

Before your first upload, the App asks for your permission to send your photos to our AI provider, kie.ai. Nothing is uploaded without your consent. You can withdraw it at any time in the App under Settings → Privacy → AI Data Sharing; after that, no photos are sent until you allow it again.

Only the photos or drawings you choose, and the settings needed for the request (such as quality), are sent to kie.ai. Your name, account details, and device identifiers are not sent to the AI provider.

Face Analysis. The AI looks at the appearance in your photo to suggest changes to hair, brows and makeup and to show them applied. It does not identify you, and no face measurements, face geometry, or biometric templates are created or stored.

4. Third-Party Services

The App relies on a small set of third-party providers to deliver its core features. They process data on our behalf and are bound by their own privacy policies and contractual obligations:

  • kie.ai (AI image generation). Processes the photos and drawings you upload to create the images you request.
  • Cloud storage provider. Holds your uploaded photos and generated images during a generation, in isolated storage.
  • RevenueCat (purchases). Manages in-app purchases, subscriptions, refunds, and entitlements.
  • Apple. Provides App Attest, DeviceCheck, push notifications (APNs), and in-app purchase infrastructure.

We do not sell your personal data, and we do not use it for advertising or cross-app tracking.

5. Data Retention

  • Account data is retained for as long as your account is active.
  • Uploaded photos and generated images are stored on our servers only while a generation is being processed and are deleted after the generation is complete. Generated images are then kept only on your device, until you delete them in the App.
  • Account deletion. When you delete your account (in the App or by email request), all data tied to your account is permanently removed within 30 days.

6. Data Security

Face data is not retained. We do not collect or process biometric data, face geometry, face templates, or face recognition data. Uploaded photos are standard 2D images, used only to create the images you request, and are not used to identify you or to train any model.

We apply industry-standard security practices:

  • All communication with our servers is encrypted in transit (HTTPS / TLS).
  • Stored content is isolated per app and per account.
  • Authentication tokens are stored in your device's secure keychain.
  • App Attest cryptographically verifies that requests come from a legitimate installation of the App.

No method of internet transmission or electronic storage is fully secure; we apply commercially reasonable measures to protect your data and keep improving them.

7. Your Rights

Depending on where you live (including the European Union under GDPR and Turkey under KVKK), you may have the right to:

  • Access the personal data we hold about you.
  • Request correction or deletion of your data.
  • Withdraw consent for data processing, including AI processing (Settings → Privacy → AI Data Sharing).
  • Object to certain types of processing.
  • Request data portability.

8. Acceptable Use and AI-Generated Content

The App's terms of use are Apple's Standard License Agreement (EULA). In addition, by using the App you agree to the following:

Upload only what you have the right to use. Upload photos of yourself, or of another adult only with their clear permission. Do not upload photos of children.

Do not use the App to create:

  • sexual or sexually suggestive content;
  • content that harasses, bullies, threatens, or humiliates anyone;
  • hateful, violent, or illegal content;
  • images of a real person meant to deceive others, impersonate them, or damage their reputation;
  • content that infringes anyone's copyright, trademark, privacy, or personality rights.

You are responsible for your uploads and for how you use the results. Images created in the App are generated by AI and may be inaccurate, unexpected, or unlike reality. Do not present them as real, unedited photographs in a way that could mislead others. Face Analysis suggestions are for styling inspiration only and are not professional, medical, or dermatological advice.

Enforcement. We may refuse a request, suspend, or close an account that breaks these rules or the law, and we may cooperate with authorities where the law requires it.

9. Children's Privacy

The App is rated 16+ on the App Store and is not intended for anyone under 16. We do not knowingly collect personal data from children under 16. If you believe a child under 16 has provided us with information, please contact us so we can delete it.

10. Changes to This Policy

We may update this Privacy Policy from time to time. Material changes will be communicated through the App. The "Last updated" date above shows the most recent revision.
